Using Payday
Payday — Your Freelance Money helps freelancers track income, expenses, and what is left. It is provided by the developer listed on its App Store page. By using Payday, you agree to these terms. Use the app only for lawful purposes and only add information you have permission to use.
Your use is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement where it applies.
Free download and Payday Pro
Payday is free to download. You can explore the app and try read-only demo data without buying Pro. Adding income or expense entries requires Payday Pro or verified eligible access from an earlier paid version. Demo entries are examples, not real money or transactions.
Payday Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks the features described on the purchase screen without recurring charges. Premium globe designs may be sold separately and are not included unless the offer says so. The App Store shows the price and currency before you confirm a purchase.
Purchases and restoring access
Apple processes payments through your Apple Account. RevenueCat helps Payday verify purchases and restore access. An internet connection may be needed to buy, verify, or restore a purchase. Use Restore with the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
If you bought an eligible paid version of Payday before the free-download change, Payday checks Apple’s verified app-purchase information to retain your app access without requiring another Pro purchase. Separately sold globe designs remain separate purchases. If access cannot be verified, try Restore or contact support before buying again.
Restoring purchases does not restore financial records that were deleted or lost. Refunds can be requested through Apple’s refund process; eligibility depends on Apple’s terms and your applicable consumer rights. Access associated with a refunded or revoked purchase may be removed.
Your information
You are responsible for checking the income, expenses, and other details you enter, import, scan, or dictate. Scanning, dictation, and Apple Intelligence can make mistakes. Review amounts, currencies, dates, and categories before saving or relying on an entry.
Keep backups or exported copies of important records. Payday stores financial records locally and does not provide a cloud copy that we can recover for you. You are responsible for files you choose to export or share.
Not financial advice
Payday is a tracking tool, not a bank, payment service, or financial adviser. It does not move money or provide financial, accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice. Reports reflect the records you save and are not a substitute for professional advice or official accounting records.
Currency conversions use reference rates and are approximate. Rates may be cached or unavailable for some currencies and may differ from those used by banks or payment providers. An income-after-expenses total is not a calculation of tax owed or taxable profit.
Privacy and optional ad measurement
The Privacy Policy explains local storage, purchase services, and optional Meta ad measurement. Tracking permission is optional and is not required to buy Pro or use its features. Income and expense records are not sent to Meta or RevenueCat.
Availability
Some features require a compatible device, operating system, supported language, or Apple Intelligence setting. Most record tracking works offline; purchases, access verification, exchange-rate refreshes, and optional ad measurement may require internet access.
We work to keep Payday reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted service, error-free results, or compatibility with every future device or operating system. Features may change as the app and third-party services change.
Your rights
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses caused by using the app. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms when Payday changes. The date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be explained through the app or its update information where appropriate.
